Don Maximiano Errázuriz founded Viña Errázuriz in 1870 in the 'Valle de Aconcagua', 100 km north of Chile's capital Santiago. He saw that this valley was ideal for growing grapes, rainy winters alternating with almost Mediterranean warm and dry summers with a cooling breeze from the Pacific Ocean.

Don Maximiano planted the finest grapes from France on the slopes of the Andes and with determination and perseverance he transformed this barren landscape into a world-class vineyard. With the production of top quality wines cultivated on their own estate, Errázuriz has built a reputation as THE reference in Chile.

In the glass this wine has a beautiful ruby red colour with nose aromas of ripe red fruit (strawberries and cherries) and fresh herbs of black pepper and vanilla. In the mouth, it tastes delicious with full flavours of recurring red fruit and with refined notes of caramel. This juicy Cabernet-Sauvignon is supported by supple, energetic tannins, thanks to a 6-month aging in oak barrels. The finish is long and persistent.

Delicious with beef, lamb, duck breast and hard cheeses.
