Bodegas Salentein was founded in 1992 by Dutch businessman Mijndert Pon. Bodegas Salentein's vineyards are located in the heart of the Valle de Uco between 1050 and 1700 metres above sea level at the foot of the Andes Mountains.

This Salentein Réserve Malbec, aged for 12 months in oak barrels is the showpiece of this magnificent bodega. The colour is deep red with in the nose brilliant aromas of plums, cocoa with subtle hints of vanilla. The taste is very intense and very flavourful. We taste lots of black fruit, dark chocolate and cocoa combined with refined vanilla notes and slightly sweet cedar. The beautifully long and persistent finish makes this Argentine, a top wine!

Great with Argentine red meat, game dishes, pork tenderloin and duck breast with sauces.
