Volpi is a family estate, founded in 1914 and today owns 28 ha of vineyards. It is situated in Tortona between Milan and the Mediterranean Sea, in the wine area of Colli Tortonesi, Gavi and Oltrepo Pavese.

This red wine based on the famous sangiovese grape is an elegant and fruity wine with rich flavours of black fruits like blackberries, blueberries and a refined spiciness. It has enjoyed 8 months of barrel aging resulting in a full-bodied wine with nice woody notes. The aftertaste is persistent and harmonious.

Goes perfectly with pasta with sauces, white meat and poultry.
