Talented winemaker

Château des Eyssards, a magnificent wine estate with 55 hectares of vineyards, is run by Pascal Cuisset, one of the most talented winemakers in the Bergerac region. Although Pascal uses the most modern vinification techniques, his deep conviction remains: "good grapes make good wine, and the work is mainly done in the vineyard". That this conviction is put into practice is clearly recognisable in his wines, generous and well made: "always a glass full of grapes".

Subtle touch of wood

This white wine is a blend of Sauvignon, Semillon and Muscadelle grapes. It is fermented and matured in French oak barrels, 1/3 of which are new. Its colour is golden yellow and in the nose, full aromas of ripe white fruit with a subtle touch of wood. On the palate, we taste fresh exotic fruit, banana and vanilla. This wine is reminiscent of a noble Pessac-Leognan, but more velvety and with a creamy aftertaste.

Ideal with fish dishes, shellfish, white meat in sauce and with goat cheese.
