Côtes du Rhône Rouge 'Artésis' BIO, Ogier 2022
Famous wine house
Since 1859, the house of Ogier shines within the appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhone valley. Exceptional plots of land offer the opportunity to make great wines. Producer Ogier's mission allows him to offer a wide range of products, especially wines from the southern Rhone valley. Antoine Ogier, founder of this famous wine house, chose ripe grapes for vinification and aging in oak barrels.
Southern Rhone
This wine from the southern Rhone valley consists of the grape varieties grenache 70%, syrah 25% and mourvèdre 5%. The wine undergoes a maturation in oak barrels for 12 months. The ruby red colour is supported by a beautiful purple reflection. Very expressive nose, first wild herbs on a fruity background and then flavours like orange peel and spices. The mouth is silky smooth with a persistent, broad fruit pallet and a permanent freshness.
Gastronomy
Highly recommended with roasts and cheese dishes.
