Calcareous soil

Château La Vernalle is situated at the foot of the famous Roche de Solutré. The domain is spread over 3 parcels: "Le Clos", "Les Vignerais" and "Les Pommard". The vines, more than 40 years old, facing south-east, are cultivated on calcareous clay soil.

Imposing

This imposing wine of 100% Chardonnay grape is full and powerful, with aromas of white peach, pear and citrus. The aftertaste is lush, creamy and spicy.

Gastronomy

Wonderful with seafood, such as oysters and mussels, with fish in cream sauce. But an absolute must is a well matured Comté cheese or chicken with morels. This is paradise!
