The San Leonino winery owns an area of 52 ha of vineyards, located in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti (between Florence and Siena). The whole philosophy of this wine estate is aimed at preserving authenticity, using the Sangiovese grape while maintaining a fresh and classic style.

"Governare" means adding overripe grapes at the end of vinification, a centuries-old technique that rounds the wine without losing its elegance and also makes it pleasant to drink young. A typical New World wine characterised by ripe fruit, firm tannins and a nice soft finish.
