Talented winemaker
Château des Eyssards, a magnificent wine estate with 55 hectares of vineyards, is run by Pascal Cuisset, one of the most talented winemakers in the Bergerac region. Although Pascal uses the most modern vinification techniques, his deep conviction remains: "good grapes make good wine, and the work is mainly done in the vineyard". That this conviction is put into practice is evident in his wines, generous and well made: "always a glass full of grapes".
Exquisite wine full of fruit aromas
Pascal Cuisset has blended the three grape varieties of the appellation - Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle - into this crisp, fresh and fruity wine. Sauvignon Blanc provides fresh fruit flavours, Semillon has crisp aromas of honey and candied fruit and Muscadelle has floral and musky notes (melon) that give this wine its roundness. All these flavours bring out an exquisite dessert wine.
