Unique climate

Domaine de l'Aigle, near the village of Roquetaillade, overlooks the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees. Its name comes from the birds of prey that fly majestically over the area. The interplay of Mediterranean, mountainous and maritime influences contributes to a unique climate within the Languedoc-Roussillon.

Special wine

The parcels for the "Aigle Royal", which are up to 500 metres above sea level, produce the most special wines of this domain. The Chardonnay grape has found an exceptional terroir in the Limoux appellation, comparable to the climate in Burgundy. This wine has fruity notes of white peach evolving to aromas of pastry and almond paste. It is fresh, soft and supple with a nice mineral finish.
